Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled HR manager to maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training and development programs.
Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning. employees; following up on work results.
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Nurture a positive working environment
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience in Legal Practice.
5-7 years working experience as HR manager.
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Knowledge of Employment Law.
Knowledge of Laws Against Sexual Harassment.
Human Resources Management.
Benefits Administration.
Performance Management.
Communication Processes.
Compensation and Wage Structure.
People oriented and results driven.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
